Dancers Workshop Studios, Inc. (DWSI) is a 501 (c) 3 corporation that allows us to offer a number of scholarships to children as well as adults. To apply for these scholarships, please contact the studio at 972-420-1314. DWSI has a strong belief that by developing the performing arts for all ages we build a stronger sense of community and helps establish common goals for all ethnic backgrounds.
Conveniently located in the New Arts District of Old Town Lewisville. The Studio was established in 1992 to offer professional training and performance opportunities to students of all ages. Here the beginner/professional dancer has the opportunity to learn from experienced professional teachers and choreographers. All classes are designed in accordance with the students individual physical and emotional development. Advancement through the curriculum is based more on the students progress than on age, with each level being designed to increase technique, stamina, style, projection and self-confidence.
Throughout the year our students have the opportunity to study with nationally known performers and choreographers that are brought in for master workshops. These workshops are open to the public as well as our students.
Our studio(s) encompass over 4000 sqft with the latest in audio and lighting equipment, professional suspended dance flooring and headsets for teaching. We also have 1500 sqft for meeting and party area that is available for rent.
